Five on Friday

It's been almost two months since I've blogged. TWO. MONTHS. I really miss it but life has been busy and I've been trying to soak up as much Summertime with my boy as I can get.

This is basically a life lately post because I've been AWOL for so long. So here are my five things this week.

{How cute are our white scrubs? Also, how awkward do I look squatting like that. Next time I'm calling the back row.}

My summer semester ends in three weeks. Can I get an amen, hallelujah?! This class has flown by and I'm so very ready for a break. If I can just get through these next three weeks I'll get a week break before I START MY LAST SEMESTER OF NURSING SCHOOL. I couldn't be any more excited.

This boy.

I love him so.

He is so funny, and intelligent, and kind-hearted and I'm so grateful to be his mom.

We've been having so much fun this Summer {which I'm posting about soon!} and I'm sure going to miss him when he's at school every morning.

If you're new around here, I had Lincoln at 18 years old. I remember the fear of telling my parents I was pregnant like it was yesterday.

A few days ago I came aross this article called 'When the Wages of Sin is a Grandbaby' and it's the best.

I am so blessed to have two parents that stood by me in a time when so many people walked out. They've loved Lincoln from the beginning and I know that isn't always the norm, so I'm grateful.

Linc man loves Copper.

And I love this picture so much.

He's been asking for a pet lately and I've told him that maybe when we move out we'll see if they let him have pets.

What he doesn't know is that in October Copper is coming to live with us and he is going to FLIP. He's going to be so excited. I'm not telling him until it's actually happening but I'm so excited for him.

My boy is SWIMMING! He's been taking swim lessons this summer and has been rocking it. He loves to jump in and put his head under and he's a complete dare devil in the pool now.

At the beginning of the summer he wouldn't get his eyes wet for anything, so I'm really proud of him for conquering that fear and trying something new. We've been swimming so much this summer and it's been so much fun now that he swims so well.

Linking up with KarliAndrea, and Liz

So that's what we've been up to lately. Hopefully soon I'll be able to post more because I sure have missed this little community of bloggers. Happy Friday!
